FAQ

Frequently asked questions

The questions we are asked most often about setting up a company in Dubai.

The cost depends heavily on whether you need a mainland or Freezone company, which licences are required and how many visas the company should carry. These three factors determine the price. Our packages start at €5,000 one-off.
Forming the company usually takes about a week. Optionally, your entry for the medical test and biometrics for the Emirates ID follows – around another week. After that comes the account opening, which takes a few working days on site.
Yes. You can apply for your family’s visas as their sponsor, or employ family members in the company and obtain their visas through it.
No, you do not have to live in Dubai to run a company here. You should, however, enter the country once or twice a year to keep the visa valid.
Freezone companies can operate without restriction inside the Freezone and worldwide, but may not provide services directly on the local market. Anyone wanting to sell goods or services locally needs a mainland company.
Yes, each Freezone has its own licences and infrastructure. JAFZA, for example, offers a port and warehousing, while DIEZ provides many licences for (digital) services.
An Emirates ID is mandatory for opening local bank accounts on site. If you are relocating, you will generally need one as well.
Yes – we not only handle the company setup but support you comprehensively throughout your entire move to Dubai.
